AC Milan, Maignan: derby won't decide the league but the team wants to win it
After the 2-4 defeat to Bologna at San Siro, Mike Maignan admitted the opponents deserved their win: "They were better than us." The Rossoneri captain asked the team to turn the page ahead of Saturday's derby against Inter. Maignan played down the significance of the match, stressing that winning or losing it would not decide the league, but he reminded his teammates that pride is always at stake in a city derby. He added: "We have to keep our heads up and move on."
