Atalanta, Giuntoli announces training camp after Parma defeat: “We apologise to our fans”
Atalanta lost 3-0 at home to Parma, their fifth defeat of this season so far. During the match, fans whistled Ederson, and at the final whistle the Curva Nord protested against the team in front of their section. Sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli said: “One half does not wipe out months of work”, and described the second half as unacceptable. The squad will go into a training camp from tomorrow until Sunday, while Maurizio Sarri remains in charge. On him, Giuntoli said: “We are not pointing the finger.”
