Barcelona
After the 4-2 defeat to PSG in the Champions League, Joao Cancelo responded on social media to the criticism he received for his performance. In an Instagram story, he wrote: "I want to see them come onto the pitch and handle the pressure", referring to those who were criticising him from the stands. In a second message, he reaffirmed his confidence in his own qualities, stating: "Whoever can doubt me, well, that's me myself." The full-back, playing on the left of the defence, had been beaten in the build-up to Paris's fourth goal and was booked in the first half.
