Empoli, Cauz: “We must stay united and positive”
After the defeat to Vicenza, Empoli defender Cristian Cauz said the squad must stay united and work to improve, with the belief that they can climb out of this difficult moment. He explained that the match had been well prepared, but in the second half the fighting spirit needed to turn it around was missing, following the dismissal of Marco Curto and an incident before Vicenza's equaliser that did not go in Empoli's favour. He added that the change of coach and playing style takes time: “it takes time to absorb all the concepts.”
