Everton, Grealish excluded from League Cup tie for breach of disciplinary rules
Everton
Jack Grealish, on loan from Manchester City at Everton, was not included in the squad for the League Cup tie, which Everton won 3-1 against Newcastle. The club cited a breach of its disciplinary rules as the reason for the exclusion. Moyes avoided giving details, saying: “I won’t give details, it’s a club decision and I support it.” According to the Daily Mail, the sanction was reportedly based on his absence from Monday training, three days before the match.
