Folgore Caratese, Criscitiello: “I will always be grateful to Belmonte, but we had to change”
Folgore Caratese
Folgore Caratese president Michele Criscitiello said: “I will be grateful to Belmonte for the rest of my life, but we had to change”, commenting on the dismissal of the coach who led the team to promotion to Serie C. Replacing Nicola Belmonte, relieved of his duties after a home defeat to Desenzano and just one win in the first eight matchdays, is Federico Guidi, previously coach of Gubbio, Casertana and Teramo in Serie C. Under Guidi the team has taken one point from four matches, with defeats at Trento (1-0), Treviso (0-2) and Union Brescia (0-4), and a 2-2 draw with Lecco. Folgore Caratese are second-to-last with 7 points.
