Inter, Barella: “We needed this victory” after win over Shakhtar
Inter Shakhtar Donetsk
Nicolò Barella spoke to Sky after Inter's 1-0 Champions League win over Shakhtar Donetsk. He said he did not know whether the victory was 100% deserved, but that the team had given everything it had. The midfielder explained that Inter exploited counter-attacks while outnumbered, with Carlos Augusto scoring the goal, and he praised the defender for it. Barella admitted the team was a little tense and that the approach to the Champions League needs to improve, although on that occasion he acknowledged he could have given more voice to his teammates.
