Juventus, Spalletti confirmed by club and backed by squad after Lazio defeat
After the defeat to Lazio, Juventus responded with a 2-2 comeback draw against Rennes and a 2-0 win at Lecce. Douglas Luiz said: “I’m happy for Spalletti and for the group,” while McKennie explained that the team had to pay better attention to the details to win matches. CEO Carnevali, technical director Massara and the ownership, with confidence reaffirmed by John Elkann, have continued to back the coach, who has restored the three-man defence with three midfielders. According to Corriere dello Sport, the returns of Yildiz, Thuram and Locatelli are expected between December and late January.
