Juventus, Spalletti after Genoa defeat: “I apologise to the fans”
After the 2-0 defeat at Marassi against Genoa, Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti told DAZN microphones that the team must apologise to the fans for its performance. Spalletti explained that the Bianconeri had lost the duels both up front and at the back, with the team fighting too little. He said “little substance, little fight”. The coach called for a higher level of physical contest and said the players must understand that football has changed. With this result, Juventus remain on 14 points after matchday 9 of Serie A.
