Kvaratskhelia successfully operated on right knee for anterior cruciate ligament rupture
PSG
PSG have announced that Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been "successfully operated on" at a clinic in Doha, Qatar. The Georgian forward suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in a challenge with Xavi Espart of Barcelona, which took place last Tuesday in the Champions League. The player will now begin rehabilitation, but for this type of injury an absence of more than six months is expected, meaning the season could already be over.
