Mantova, Modesto: “we created many chances to score” after the defeat to Cremonese
Cremonese Mantova
After the 0-2 defeat to Cremonese, Modesto said that the early goal they conceded had affected the match, as it allowed the opponents to sit deep and defend. He stressed that the difference had been in the key moments, with the visitors scoring and Mantova not, and he spoke of a chance to equalise with Ilie before the second goal. He did not single out anyone for blame, saying the team had given everything and that he had assessed possible drops in some players' performance. He added: “Everyone showed commitment, from first to last.”
