Napoli, Allegri: De Bruyne in midfield, three midfielders must be left free to play
Napoli coach Massimiliano Allegri spoke ahead of the match against AS Roma. He said: “I’ve put three of them in midfield, and they must be left free to play,” explaining De Bruyne’s role in the middle of the pitch. He said Anguissa must provide balance, while McTominay has a more offensive task, and that De Bruyne knows how to move well. Allegri recalled that the team comes into the game after a defeat that ended a run of three consecutive results, and described the match as “A beautiful game that will never end.”
