Empoli Padova
On the eve of the match against Empoli, Padova coach Antonio Calabro said: “They are not a weak team, despite their league position.” The coach described the opponents as a tough side, with important players in attack and midfield. Dellavalle and Sgarbi are not in the squad due to injury, and Giunti is suspended, and Calabro said that a back four “could work.” Discussing the moves in the second half, he explained that the work has been going on for some time: “We’ve been practising them for three months.”
