On the eve of the Champions League away trip to Villarreal, Luis Enrique asked PSG not to consider themselves already favourites. He recalled that last year the team had a similar start and did not make it into the top eight, saying: “Last year we had the same start as this year.” The coach also stressed that the team will have to show ambition from the first minutes and that the absences of Kvaratskhelia, Dembélé and Marquinhos will not change the approach. He then praised Villarreal, describing them as a very strong side.
