Sampdoria, D'Angelo: “Time is on our side”
New Sampdoria coach Luca D'Angelo said he has found a team in difficulty, but that “time is on our side.” He explained that in the immediate term there will be little time to work on tactical principles, with three matches in one week, and that the focus will have to be above all on mentality and temperament. He set out the aim of a dynamic, vertical Sampdoria that attacks and takes the game into the opponent's half, with energy and personality. To the fans, he promised commitment on the pitch to repay their support.
