Sassuolo, Aquilani: “The responsibility is mine” after defeat to Lazio
After the heavy home defeat to Lazio, Sassuolo coach Alberto Aquilani said: “The responsibility is mine,” explaining that he had not conveyed the demands he makes of the team in the right way. According to him, the match had effectively been over by the 30th minute, and Lazio were superior in every aspect. On the goals conceded, he said: “Sometimes we gifted them goals.” Aquilani identified the out-of-possession phase as the area that needs to be addressed, but considered it hasty to change formation drastically.
