Manchester United in contact with Conte but no agreement reached
According to La Repubblica, there have been contacts between Antonio Conte and Manchester United, but no agreement has been reached. The Telegraph reports that Conte would not fit the structure the club wants to adopt, while Julian Nagelsmann would be listening to an approach from United and is tipped as the favourite for the job. Michael Carrick, who is in charge of the team, reportedly has the backing of the dressing room, but would be at risk of being sacked after the heavy defeat to Como.
