UEFA to open proceedings after fans' flares at Bruges match
LensClub Brugge
In the third matchday of the Champions League league phase, Lens lost 3-0 away to Club Brugge. Lens now risk sanctions ranging from a fine to a ban on European away trips for their supporters. Already in the first matchday, against Slavia Prague, flares had been lit on the pitch, and for this reason UEFA had opened a monitoring period.
